Behind the scenes – Killin Time with Kolab

Doing work with Kolab

A few weeks back I got together with Kolab to shoot a music video for a track titled ‘Killin Time’ from there new album ‘Standards’ due out towards the end of the year. The concept was super simple, get the band together in an old derelict building in Auckland, power up a couple of lights with some generators and get creative. It was a really fun shoot, and we managed to get a lot of diverse shots in a small space of time. I was shooting on my Canon 5DMKII, Canon L series lenses, Panasonic HVX and other bits and bobs. Big thanks to Sebastian Solberg who came along and shot a behind the scenes video ( see directly below, hit full screen for HD viewing pleasure ) along with all the photos you see on this blog. I’ll be cutting the music video in the next few months, and will let you all know when it appears online and in other places. Kolabs producing quality NZ music, get some – www.kolab.co.nz
